Grimoire Portal Privacy Policy

Who runs this. Grimoire Portal is a personal tool operated by Rubirod ("the owner"). Contact: changetheworld@rubirod.com.

What the app is. A Google Apps Script web app attached to the owner's own Google Sheet, "The Grimoire". The owner is its only intended user.

What information the app accesses, and why.

- Google Sheets (the "spreadsheets" permission). The app reads and writes rows in The Grimoire, and in an archive tab inside it that holds earlier cell values. This is the app's whole purpose.

- A menu or sidebar inside the Sheet (the "script.container.ui" permission).

- Connecting to an external service (the "script.external_request" permission). Used for two things: reading the title of a web address when the owner saves that address in an entry, and calling Google's own Apps Script API for the Portal's own project.

- The app's own Apps Script project and deployments (the "script.projects" and "script.deployments" permissions). Used so an update to the Portal can be installed and checked. The app does not read or change any other Apps Script project.

The app does not use Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs or Contacts, and does not collect anything from a person visiting this page.

Where information goes. The information stays in the owner's Google Sheet and Google account. The owner may ask an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) to read or write rows through a small relay the owner runs on Cloudflare. When the owner does that, the rows involved pass through the relay and the assistant under the owner's own accounts and those providers' own terms. The app does not send information to anyone else.

What the app does not do. It does not sell information, share it with advertisers, show advertising, build profiles, or use it for any purpose other than keeping the owner's Sheet.

How long it is kept. Rows stay in the Sheet until the owner deletes them. Earlier cell values stay in the archive tab until the owner deletes that tab.

Your choices. The owner can stop the app at any time: remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or delete the Apps Script project. Deleting the Sheet deletes the stored information.

Changes. If this policy changes, the date above changes.

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
